29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: The Recoiler Operation on a Braner Slitter Exit Hydraulic Unit, Equipment Number 1222, was not properly guarded to prevent entry of hands or fingers or the body of the employee from approaching hazards of ingoing nip points, or rotating parts from the recoiler.
