An employee used a Hobart model V1401 horizontal mixer to mix dough in the cake pop mixing area of the Finishing Department.  The guard was not closed during operation.  This condition exposed the employee to an amputation hazard.  (b) Steven Roberts Originals LLC, at 2780 Tower Road, Aurora, CO: On 5/26/15 and preceding the employer did not ensure that every mixer was equipped with a full enclosure over the bowl which is closed at all times while the agitator is in motion.  An employee used a Hobart model V1401 horizontal mixer to mix dough in the mixing area of the Finishing Department.  The guard was damaged and non-functional.  This condition exposed the employee to an amputation hazard.
