29 CFR 1910.303(b)(6): Conductors or equipment were located in damp or wet locations were not identified for use in that operating environment:  a) Meat Cutting Department- The employer failed to ensure that all electrical equipment, such as the twist locks used to power the bandsaws in the Meat Cutting Department, were identified for use in damp or wet locations.  These twist locks showed signs of corrosion and were wet when examined.   No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.305(e)(1): Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures in damp or wet locations were not installed to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosures:  a) Meat Cutting Department-  The employer failed to ensure all boxes and fittings in damp or wet locations, such as the outlet next to the Hamburger Machine, were installed to prevent moisture and water from entering and accumulating.  This box may have been originally installed to be weatherproof, but the connecting screws and box itself showed signs of corrosion and it was no longer maintained in a weatherproof condition to prevent water from entering and accumulating.  In addition, this outlet was not equipped with ground fault circuit interruption protection.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
