29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not ensure each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels are protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2015, on the south side of the residential home where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when installing decking without a fall protection system. Pursuant to 29 C.F. R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels are protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: The employer does not ensure that each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards is provided training. This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2015, on the south side of the residential home where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard when installing decking without being provided training on fall protection. Pursuant to 29 C.F.
