Employees were observed framing a residence with the use of pneumatic nail guns. The employees were not using any means of eye protection, exposing employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees were observed working constructing a residence walking and working on frame members with unprotected sides and edges greater than 6 feet from lower levels without the use of fall protection, exposing employees to fall hazards.
