29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points:    a. In the sorting room, the exit access from cubicle 1 was 19 inches.     Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  a. Exit route within the sorting/work area was blocked by equipment including the cages (70" tall, mobile cart) and tonkas (36" tall, mobile cart); up to 10 cages plus tonkas can be placed in the work area resulting in the exit route being blocked and employees inhibited from exiting during an emergency such as a fire.  b. During work hours, the front exit door was blocked by a tonka (mobile cart).  c. During end of day work hours, the rear exit way, including the exit discharge, may be blocked by cages (mobile carts).   Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:    a. In the vestibule storage closet one circuit breaker panel box was completely blocked by a storage cabinet and the other, including the main breaker, was blocked by a storage rack with open shelves (inhibited access).    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(ii): In locations where electric equipment was likely to be exposed to physical damage, enclosures or guards were not so arranged and of such strength as to prevent such damage:    a. In the vestibule, the ceiling light, was not guarded, such as by a cover.  The light has been damaged periodically and repeatedly because of inhibited access to and loading of mobile carts, resulting in exposure to the live socket.    b. In the vestibule storage closet, the ceiling light, which could become damaged, and therefore result in exposure to the live socket and light filaments, was not guarded, such as by a cover.    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
