29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about June 4, 2015, at the job site located at 850 Bronnie Ln in Conway, Arkansas, where employees were mixing mortar for masonry work, an employee was standing on top of the lime silo, without fall protection. These conditions exposed the employee to the hazard of falling approximately 14 feet to the ground below.
