OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from fall hazards while using improperly maintained mobile ladder platform stands:    a)  Worksite - On or about June 5, 2015, employees were using a 12 riser mobile ladder stand with missing rubber pads on the front and rear legs exposing employees to a fall hazard no less than 10 feet above the lower level.    ABATEMENT NOTE:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is: Comply with the manufacturer's requirements and ANSI A14.7 - 1991 for Mobile Ladder Stands and discontinue use until repairs are completed. Units that are damaged or weakened from any cause shall not be used until repairs are completed.  Units that are damaged subsequent to their receipt, and/or are worn beyond repair shall be destroyed.
