29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: a. Paralleling Switchgear, 145 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA 19087 - The employer did not de-energize switchgear or isolate it through the use of guarding for employees dismantling switchgear equipment. Two subcontractor employees working near an opened switchgear cabinet were exposed to an arc-flash explosion. One employee sustained first degree burns to his face and second degree burns around both his arms and hands. Noted On or about April 13, 2015
