The employees were observed working below other employees using nail guns and hammers to install wooden trusses. Employees working below did not have head protection. Employees exposed to the hazard of being struck by falling objects.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed:     On or about June 9, 2015, at 941 Santa Cruz, New Braunfels TX, the employer failed to ensure the step ladders were used in accordance with the manufactured recommendation. The employees were observed stepping on the top rung of a free-standing, portable ladder to hand lumber to the upper level. The step ladder was used in a manner that is prohibited by the manufacturer.
