29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: (a) Recycling Warehouse: On or about June 11, 2015 a super sack of PET flake weighing approximately 1,000 pounds was stacked on top of another super sack next to an aisle way. The top super sack was leaning in an unstable manner creating a hazard of collapsing onto employees and/or forklifts in the area. (b) Wash Line Feed Area: On or about June 11, 2015 wooden pallets stacked approximately seven feet high next to an aisle way were leaning such that the top pallets could slide off and hit an employee passing by them. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION REQUIRED
