29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Bitterroot Motors Service Area: On June 10, 2015 and at times prior, employees were exposed to hazards such as, but not limited to struck by flying parts or pieces when using an unguarded 50 ton Rotunda hydraulic press.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There were damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: (a) Bitterroot Motors Service Area: On or about June 10, 2015 and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards while using an electrical outlet on a Rotary two post automotive lift (#21) with an outlet with black burn marks in the lower opening. (b) Bitterroot Motors Service Area: On or about June 10, 2015 and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards while using an electrical outlet on a Rotary two post automotive lift (#13) with an outlet with cracks in the outlet. (c) Bitterroot Motors Service Area: On or about June 10, 2015 and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards while using an electrical outlet on a Benwil two post automotive lift (#16) with an outlet with cracks in the outlet.
