(a) An employee assisting in firearms instruction to customers was exposed to continuous noise levels at 178.4% of the permissible 8-hour TWA.  The equivalent level of 178.4% is approximately 94.1 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 411 minutes during one shift.  Zero exposure was assumed for the 69 minutes not sampled.    (b) An employee conducting firearms instruction to customers was exposed to continuous noise levels at 167.4% of the permissible 8-hour TWA.  The equivalent level of 167.4% is approximately 93.7 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 437 minutes during one shift.  Zero exposure was assumed for the 43 minutes not sampled.

(b) Personal air monitoring conducted on October 20, 2015 during an 8-hour work shift indicated that a sales staff member was exposed to airborne lead concentrations of 200 micrograms per cubic meter which exceeded the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 micrograms per cubic meter by approximately 4.0 times.
