29 CFR 1926.752(b): The steel erection contractor began steel erection work without written notification that the concrete in the footings, piers and wall, or the mortar in the in the masonry piers and walls has attained, on the basis of an appropriate ASTM standard test method of field-cured samples, either 75 percent of the intended minimum compressive design strength or sufficient strength to support the loads imposed during steel erection: Location: 535 Zegra Ave. On or about: 05/19/15 a) Employees were engaged in steel erection activities. The steel erector began the erection of columns before receiving the written notification that the concrete in the footings has attained, on the basis of an appropriate ASTM standard test method of field-cured samples, either 75 percent of the intended minimum compressive design strength or sufficient strength to support the loads imposed during steel erection.
