29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  Instance 1: On or about June 17, 2015, at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Parc Lafayette construction site on Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette, LA, the employer did not ensure that strain relief was maintained on the power cord of the DeWalt air compressor for the Pneu Tools pneumatic nailer (model no. SN22 821).  The outer sheath of the cord was pulled away from the plug which exposed the insulated conductors.
