29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vi): Each employee performing overhand bricklaying operations from a supported scaffold was not protected from falling from all open sides and ends of the scaffold (except at the side next to the wall being laid) by the use of a personal fall arrest system or guardrail system (with minimum 200 pound toprail capacity).  On or about June 17, 2015 at 1500 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA., an employee working 42 feet above the lower level removed the guard rail to place a bucket of  mud on the working level. When the guard rail was removed the employee was not using ay type of fall protection to prevent him from falling to the lower level. The employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 42 feet to the lower level.
