29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) On or about 6/23/2015, At the jobsite: A set of temporary wooden stairs between the basement and the first floor were not provided with a stair rail system on an open side, and a lack of a mid rail on another open side. The stairs consisted of fifteen risers. b) On or about 6/23/2015, At the jobsite: A set of stairs located between the first and second floor which were being utilized as part of the construction activities was lacking a mid rail below the upper landing, this section of the stair consisted of four risers. Abatement certification is required for this item.
