Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.  a.  On the front of the building where masonry crews were using a masonry saw to cut block, the electrical cord was pulled out of the back of the motor and did not have strain relief thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazard.
