29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.   On or about June 25, 2015, and times prior thereto, on the east side of the construction site, employees were using a spider box with the power cord that had the outer sheathing pulled away from the strain relief device exposing employees to electrical hazards.
