29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: a) At the baggage handling system of the Orlando International Airport at 1 Jeff Fuqua Blvd in Orlando, Florida, on or about September 23, 2015: 1) For employees clearing jams in Charlie pod exposed to a continuous noise level at 150.3 percent of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level for these dose percentage is 92.94 dBA. 2) For employees clearing jams in Delta pod exposed to a continuous noise level at 105.0 percent of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level for these dose percentage is 90.35 dBA. 3) For employees clearing jams in Echo pod exposed to a continuous noise level at 76.0 percent of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level for these dose percentage is 88.02 dBA.
