29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift (Construction Reference: 1926.59):  (a)  At the construction site, where a safety data sheet for Sulflo 1, containing petroleum distillates and chlorinated paraffins, was not readily accessible in the work area.  Inhalation, as well as skin and eye contact, of petroleum distillates causes mild irritation. Chorlinated paraffins are carcinogenic.  (b)  At the construction site, where a safety data sheet for Rectorseal No. 5, containing diacetone alcohol, was not readily accessible in the work area.  Inhalation of diacetone alcohol causes irritation and narcosis.  It is a central nervous system depressant.
