OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: a. Casting Shop: On or before June 24th, 2015, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while using PVC to transfer compressed air from an Ingersoll Rand T-30 air compressor set at 120 psi.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Inside of buildings, cylinders were not stored in a well-protected, well-ventilated, dry location, at least 20 (6.1 m) feet from highly combustible materials such as oil or excelsior. a. Near the bay door near the front of the shop: On or about June 24, 2015, and at times prior, employees were exposed to explosion and fire hazards when a compressed oxygen storage cylinder was within one inch of a compressed acetylene storage cylinder. b. Near the bay door near the front of the shop: On or about June 24, 2015, and at times prior, employees were exposed to explosion and fire hazards when a compressed oxygen storage cylinder was within one foot of a propane storage tank.
