29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level was not guarded by a standard railing on all open sides except where there is entrance to a ramp, stairway, or fixed ladder: a) Hanover Food Corporation/Clayton, DE - On or about June 30, 2015, the employer failed to guard a roof atop the grilling building with a standard railing, which was 20 feet above ground level. Employees clean stacks on the roof regularly.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Hanover Foods Corporation/Clayton, DE. - On or about June 30, 2015, the employer did not provide information and training to employees in the recognition, evaluation, and control of hazards associated with working at elevations. Employees were working from an unprotected edge without the use of fall protection.
