When normally enclosed live parts are exposed for inspection or servicing, the working space, if in a passageway or general open space, shall be suitably guarded. a)United States Postal Service/Bear Post Office #97271 - On or about June 10, 2015, the employer stored merchandise and materials in the electrical storage closet which houses electrical panel boxes and transformers.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) United States Postal Service/Bear Post Office #97271 - On or about June 10, 2015, the letter sorting equipment through out the distribution sorting area of the facility was energized by flexible cords that were not provide strain relief to prevent the electrical cords from pulling away from the terminal box.
