29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about 30 June, 2015, at the above addressed jobsite, nine employees were removing the existing tile of apartment building number 3 without the use of conventional fall protection, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 27 feet from the eave to the ground below. Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 910718, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 4680 Mimosa Place, in Coconut Creek, Florida 33093.
