OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: location: parking lot area on or about: 7/7/15 a) Employees were working from a truck mounted aerial lift, while installing new light fixtures. The midrail chain for the basket entrance was not engaged. The employees were not tied off using a body belt or harness. The employees were exposed to a fall of up to 15'. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to engage the midrail chain while any employee is in the basket.
