29 CFR 1910.184(c)(6): Slings were not securely attached to their loads: The employer does not ensure that slings are securely attached to their loads. This violation occurred on or about July 6, 2015, located on the north side of the well site where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when unloading workover rig components without securing the chain sling to the catwalk/ pipe handler. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that slings are securely attached to their loads.
