29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Roof of the house at 3418 Sweetbriar Lane, Powder Springs, GA: Employees, installing shingles and related materials without fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet - 24 feet above the ground. Ramon Oliveros dba Alejo Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 898933 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/12/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1321 Kent Manor, Stockbridge, Georgia.

The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head. (a) Roof of the house at 3418 Sweetbriar Lane, Powder Springs, GA: Employees were exposed to fall hazards while improperly using a harness and carabineers as a positioning belt with a rope grab located at the wearer's waist. The employees were on a 8:12 pitched roof at a height of approximately 24 feet from the eave to the lower level.
