29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about July 9, 2015, on the southeast side of a commercial building, an employee working on the framed structure was not protected from a 14 feet fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system. b. On or about July 9, 2015, on the northeast side of a commercial building, an employee working on the framed structure was not protected from a 12 feet 7 inch fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system.
