29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about 7/14/2015 on building "B", workers were observed near the edge of the building, exposed to fall hazards above 43 feet to the lower level while receiving trusses via truck crane from the ground. The workers were not wearing fall protection. b. On or about 7/15/2015 on building "A", workers were observed wearing harnesses and were tied off but were not adjusting their ropes while moving around on the trusses while installing the plywood, exposing them to falls greater than 10 feet to the lower level. c. On or about 7/28/2015 on building "B", a worker was observed walking up the roof to the exposed trusses while carrying wood on his shoulder and was not connected. Miguel Angel Bernabe was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 975228, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/17/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1018 Beaver Dam Road, Hoschton, GA.
