29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): At the time of inspection, the employer failed to provide point of operation guarding to the Butceh Bliss Stretcher/Leveler, located in the East Bay production area. The guard located at the rollers of the stretcher, where the stretching is performed, was easily removable without the use of interlocks. The employees lift the guard off of the stretcher while the machine was in operation, and during cleaning.
