29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. An employee was exposed to falls of up to 21 feet to the ground below while engaging in steel erection activities traversing a low sloped roof where fall protection was not used.

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards where: Location: Jobsite On or about 23 June 2015 an employee was exposed to fall hazards of up to 21 feet from the top rails of a JLG self-propelled scissors lift while climbing as well as standing on the guardrails and exiting the lift to access the upper level of the structure they were working on. The company, C. A. Rollins Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this section of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 982318, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 29 June 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 171 VFW Drive, Rockland, MA.
