29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a- The Atriums At Greentree, Building 701, Route 73 North, Marlton NJ. On or about 07/17/15 CSHO observed a company employee exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet to the ground below when sitting on the buildings ridge as well as walking on the buildings pitched roof (approximately 4 on 12) when performing roofing over site and other related activities.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a- The Atriums At Greentree, Building 701, Route 73 North, Marlton NJ. On or about 07/17/15 CSHO observed a company employee exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet to the ground below when sitting on the buildings ridge as well as walking on the buildings pitched roof (approximately 4 on 12) when performing roofing over site and other related activities. This employee had not received fall hazard recognition from the company. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
