The employer did not ensure employees used personal protective equipment such as long sleeved leak resistant gowns and eye protection with side shields. The employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with bloodborne pathogens.

29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(2): During use, containers for contaminated sharps were not easily accessible to personnel and located as close as was feasible to the immediate area where sharps were used: a) On or about July 20, 2015, at the above located workplace employees were required to work with orthodontic wires and others sharps during dental procedures. Sharps containers were not in the immediate area where sharps were used. The employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with contaminated sharps.
