29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about 7/21/2015, employee was able to reach into machine to take out a part to check over for quality control due to the lack of guarding on Bar Feed Screw machine #306. b) On or about 7/21/2015, the rotating Bar Feeder tubes on Machine #307 needed guarding by the aisle. c) On or about 7/21/2015, A guard had been removed from the MORI SEIKI machine and was setting against the wall.
