This violation was observed on or about July 23, 2015, at the construction site where two employees were exposed to a 8 foot 11 inch fall hazard when performing roof sheathing activities on a residential structure without a fall protection system.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees engaged in construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels are protected from falling.

This violation was observed on or about July 23, 2015, at the construction site where two employees were exposed to an 8 foot 11 inch fall hazard when descending the roof using the frame of the structure do to the lack of a ladder.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are provide with stairways or ladders where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches or more.
