29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) V & S Delaware Galvanizing, LLC. - On or about July 29, 2015, the employer did not have an eye wash station available that was properly maintained and/or inspected for his employees who use corrosive chemical products for cleaning the flux, pickling, and degreasing tanks which can splash in the eyes and/or on the body when mixing the ammonium chloride, hydrochloric acid and sodium dichromate to be placed in the tanks. These hazardous products can have an average PH level between 2.0 and 4.0 as identified by the safety data sheet.
