29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(3)(ii)(A): The post-exposure evaluation and follow-up of an exposure incident did not include testing the source individual's blood as soon as feasible and after consent was obtained in order to determine HBV and HIV infectivity: a) Facility - On or about 07/13/2015, a temporary employee (LPN) from Cross Country Staffing working at the host employer (Orchard Manor) received a needlestick from a contaminated needle. The host employer did not ensure that the employee post-exposure evaluation and follow-up of an exposure incident included testing the source individual's blood as soon as feasible and after consent was obtained in order to determine HBV and HIV infectivity. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
