29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):      On or about July 23, 2015, employees were engaged in roof activities with no fall protection.        The employer does not protect each employee on the roof by ensuring that all employees are protected from falling to lower levels. This violation was most recently observed at N102 Cty Road AA, Portage, WI 53901. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that its employees performing roofing work are protected from falls, and that no employee is allowed onto a roof without adequate fall protection.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including an explanation of how these steps protect its employees from falls.    This employer has been previously cited for this practice:      David L. Raimer Construction, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this or its equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 749862, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, Issued on 12/14/2012, and was affirmed final order on 4/26/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 300 North Main Street, Pardeeville, WI 53954.      David L. Raimer Construction, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this or its equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 190691, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, Issued on 4/4/2012, and was affirmed final order on 4/19/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1230 W Pleasant Street, Portage, WI 53901.      Raimer Construction, was previously cited for a violation of this or its equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 313132060, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1, Issued on 3/12/2010, and was affirmed final order on 3/18/2010, with respect to a workplace located at W4288 Ross Road, Pardeeville, WI 53954.    ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS OF 29 CFR 1903.19(D).
