29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 42 Wellesley Way, Evesham, NJ: On or about 7/27/2015 six employees of LFD Construction Inc. conducting roofing activities, installing asphalt paper on the steep sloped roof of a new construction multi-story single family residence. The employees were not using any form of fall protection and were thus exposed to a fall hazard of nearly 24 feet from the structure to the ground below. The employer, LFD Construction Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 987758, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/05/14, with respect to a workplace located at Muhlenberg College, Martin Luther Hall, Allentown, PA.
