29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Note: If the employer could demonstrate that it was infeasible or created a greater hazard to use these systems, a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502 should have been developed and implemented: Located on the North side of a commercial structure, employees were observed not utilizing any fall protection system while exposed to a fall hazard constructing framing work at the leading edge of the commercial roof. Employees were exposed to a potential fall height of 17'-7".
