29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Location: 760 Stillson Road, Fairfield, CT 06824 Each employee using portable ladders were not provided with a training program to recognize hazards related to portable ladders and train each employee in the procedures to minimize and/or eliminate those hazards. Consequently, on or about July 28, 2015, an employee fell 14 feet to the ground while descending a portable 24 foot Werner aluminum ladder in order to exit the roof of the building.
