29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by pinch points and rotating parts: a) Finishing Dept., on or about 7/29/15: Pinch points on the infeed pusher to lathe for Turning Centers 2020, 2120 were not adequately guarded. b) Finishing Dept., on or about 7/29/15: Pinch points on the blister gauge for Turning Centers 1120, 1220, 1320, 1420, 1520, 1620, 1720, 1820, 1920, 2020 and 2120 were not adequately guarded. c) Finishing Dept., on or about 7/29/15: Pinch points on the grinder conveyor pusher for Turning Centers 2020, 2120 were not guarded. d) Finishing Dept., on or about 7/29/15: Rotating grinder spindle for Turning Center 2020 was not guarded. e) Finishing Dept., on or about 7/29/15: Pinch points on the grinder infeed flipper for Turning Centers 1120, 1200, 1320, 1420, 1520, 1620, 1720 and 1920 were not adequately guarded. f) Tool Room, on or about 7/29/15: Rotating chuck on a Kitchen Walker radial drill was not guarded. g) Tool Room, on or about 7/29/15: Rotating chuck on a Monarch drill press was not guarded. Abatement documentation must be submitted for items b, c, e and f.
