29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:   On or about 07/21/15, at the Gassett warehouse area, at Innovative Communications, St. Thomas, VI. The employer did not implement their written hazard communication program to ensure safety data sheets availability and employee training as follows:  a. Employees used and/or handled Diversey cleaning products such as Crew Neutral Non-Acid Bowl & Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaner (dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) and Envy disinfectant cleaner (dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) during buildings areas (floors, restrooms, offices) janitorial operations.     b. Employees used and/or handled diesel and gasoline when re-fueling companys vehicles service operations.     NOTE:   Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use:  On or about 07/21/15, at the Gassett warehouse area, at Innovative Communications, St. Thomas, VI. The employer did not have a safety data sheet for each hazardous chemical as follows:  a. Employees used and/or handled Diversey cleaning products such as Crew Neutral Non-Acid Bowl & Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaner (dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) and Envy disinfectant cleaner (dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) during buildings areas (floors, restrooms, offices) janitorial operations.     b. 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  On or about 07/21/15, at the Gassett warehouse area, at Innovative Communications, St. Thomas, VI. The employer did not provide training to employees on the hazards of products used and/or handled by them as follows:  a. Employees used and/or handled Diversey cleaning products such as Crew Neutral Non-Acid Bowl & Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaner (dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) and Envy disinfectant cleaner (dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) during buildings areas (floors, restrooms, offices) janitorial operations.     b.
