29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: a) On or about July 28, 2015; fall from 6 foot step ladder: The employer failed to ensure proper equipment was used during the installation of rafters at 530 Falling Water, Daphne, Al. 36526. A six foot step ladder was used which required the employee to stand on the next to the top step in order to place and secure the top portion of the rafter at the roofs peak exposing him to falls of 19 feet 6 inches to the first floor decked surface.
