29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i): Powered industrial truck operators had not received initial training regarding truck-related topics: (a) On or about July 30, 2015 - The employer did not ensure operators were trained on the following topics prior to being allowed to operate powered riding long pallet jacks: Warnings, and precautions for the types of truck the operator will be authorized to operate. Differences between the truck and the automobile. Engine or motor operation. Steering and maneuvering. Visibility (including restrictions due to loading). Fork and attachment adaptation, operation, and use limitations. Vehicle capacity. Vehicle stability. Any vehicle inspection and maintenance that the operator will be required to perform.
