29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify that the required workplace hazard assessment has been performed through a written certification which included the requirements as outlined in 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): a) Uticom, Inc. 109 Independence Way, Coatesville, PA (Screen Printing, Laminating and Assembling areas) - The employer did not have a written certification of the hazard assessment. The employer did not have each affected employee wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves, face shield, apron, footwear etc. to protect their eyes and skin from chemicals used for screen printing process, such as, but not limited to, sodium hydroxide found in Liquid Haze Remover, which is corrosive (pH is greater than 13). Observed on or about August 4, 2015.
