29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): All respirators shall be stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals, and they shall be packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve. Employees engaged in welding activities throughout the shop were exposed to respiratory hazards in that tight-fitting cartridge respirators were not hygienically stored.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: Employees engaged in welding activities throughout the shop, using chemicals including but not limited to Weld Kleen Heavy Duty and Original Lube-Matic Liquid lubricant, were exposed to chemical hazards in that a written hazard communication program had not been developed and implemented.
