29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts: a/ Vianini Pipe, Inc., Whitehouse Station, NJ, Motor Coating Building: The employer did not provide machine guarding to protect employees from hazards created by moving parts while cleaning equipment such as, but not limited to,the SIOME Conveyor Machine. Employees were exposed to nip point hazards while conducting the daily cleaning of the conveyor. Condition Occurred on or about 8/3/15 Vianini Pipe, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1910.212(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection #995851, citation number 1, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/30/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 81 County Line Rd, Whitehouse Station NJ 08889.
