29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a. On or about July 30, 2015, near east building wall, rebar that projected from the concrete floor was not guarded and exposed subcontractor employees to impalement hazards. b. On or about July 30, 2015, near temporary electric box, rebar that projected from the concrete floor was not guarded and exposed subcontractor employees to impalement hazards.
